Ruff Life Business Hub

The Ruff Life Business Hub is the private, invite-only internal portal of Ruff Life Dog Bones, a small dog-treat business. Only people the owners invite can sign in. There is no public sign-up.

What it does for the team

• Home, Inventory and Wholesale: shows the business's own Google Sheets, read only.
• Approvals: changes are proposed as requests and decided by someone else, with a permanent activity history.
• Knowledge: the business's approved procedures and training.
• AI assistants: help with questions and drafts. They can't change records.
• Documents: when switched on, a team member uploads a receipt or document, an owner approves it, and the Hub saves it into the right folder of the owners' own Google Drive.

How it uses Google

An owner connects the business's Google Drive once. The Hub asks Google only for permission to add files to the folders the owner picks and to see the account's email address. It can't see, change, move, share or delete anything else in that Drive. An owner can disconnect it at any time.

Security

Accounts are invite-only, owners use two-step sign-in (an authenticator app), every important action is recorded, and files waiting for approval are kept in private storage that only the Hub's server can open.
